Providence V is a unique vessel. Built from North Queensland timber from the last of the Tully rainforest, she is an American bluenose gaff-rigged schooner, a replica of some of the first boats to compete in the America's Cup in the 1870s.
Jump on board to sail to Hook Passage, help set the sails or chill on deck while heading to Whitsunday Island. The vessel stops at Tongue Bay to disembark for the 10 min walk up to Hill Inlet lookout. You can have the chance to photograph the magnificent Whitehaven Beach. Swim off the beach and explore. After lunch will head to Dumbbell Island where you will be able to snorkel. Then it's homeward bound after an exciting day out on a classic tallship.
